I've had the calcium-enriched version several times. Each time, it's an unpleasant surprise. It tastes different, it feels different, I find it terrible. Please, let it die.

The added calcium changes the mouth feel

Review Questions:
State: Vermont
Age: 45-54
Review Text:
I don't like the calcium enriched version of this milk. The calcium changes the mouth feel in a way that is unpleasant (makes the milk feel a little to thick or slimy). Stick with the unenriched version.

Thank GOD for Lactaid Fat Free Milk

Review Questions:
State: Texas
Age: 55-65
Review Text:
In my early forties I had to STOP drinking whole milk. Then I started drinking low fat milk. This change did not help me either. So in essence, I stopped consuming milk all together. I knew I noticed certain changes in my nails, hair and teeth. I needed calcium and I missed eating my favorite cereals. My sister Jackie introduced me to Lactaid. I was hesitant at first, then I gave Lactaid a try. OMG!!! It tasted just like the milk of my childhood. I was sold. From that time I always look for the blue label which is the low fat Lactaid. I absolutely LOVE IT and so does my family.

Spoils immediately and defeats the purpose.

Review Questions:
State: Georgia
Age: 55-65
Review Text:
Adding calcium adds gas, more than the lactose as it turns out, also, if you are buying the no fat for its many benefits, when you add calcium, regardless of the temperature, it spoils almost immediately. Calcium is available via much better avenues. No one in their right mind would pay the extra money to buy a product with a additive that negates the reason for buying the product. The calcium is not added to benefit the consumer. It is added to make the milk spoil, and in spite of the fact that it will cause the consumer to have more gas than even regular milk. They are hoping you are idiots.

The product is terrific - none other match it, all I want is to be abler to print a coupon to help defray the high price of the product and it never ever works.

Great Milk Substitute

Review Questions:
State: Pennsylvania
Age: 55-65
Review Text:
Lactaid milk, 1% and 2%, both taste great...maybe even better than regular milk, and help keep my IBS under control. I have used it as a substitute for milk in a variety of recipes. Whipped potatoes seemed to dry out more quickly, but all other recipes worked fine with Lactaid.

With Lactaid milk, I can tell no difference in taste from whole milk. With the calcium enriched choice, I can't tell I am missing anything by drinking Lactaid.
