This easy-to-make, lactose-free rice pudding is creamy, delicious, and a great option for your next family gathering.

1 cup uncooked white jasmine rice
½ cup sugar
½ teaspoon salt

Combine LACTAID® Fat-Free Lactose-Free Milk, rice, sugar and salt in top of a double boiler.

Cover and cook over simmering water 1-2 hours or until thickened.
3.
Stir in cinnamon and vanilla extract. You can add the optional ½ cup raisins at this point. Can be served warm or cold.
