Delicious Rice Pudding

Cinnamon delicious non-lactose rice pudding

1 cup uncooked white jasmine rice

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup raisins (optional)

  1. Combine LACTAID® Fat Free Milk, rice, sugar and salt in top of a double boiler.
  2. Cover and cook over simmering water 1-2 hours or until thickened.
  3. Stir in cinnamon and vanilla extract. You can add the optional 1/2 cup raisins at this point. Can be served warm or cold.
