LACTAID® Lactose-Free Whole Milk

Directions

For the Chocolate Milkshake

  1. In a blender, add the LACTAID® Chocolate Ice Cream and LACTAID® Whole Milk.
  2. Blend on high so all the ingredients are well mixed, and the milkshake is smooth and creamy.
  3. Pour the milkshake into tall serving glasses.
  4. Top each milkshake with lactose-free whipped cream, dark chocolate shavings.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy!

For the Whipped Cream

  1. Chill a mixing bowl and beaters in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
  2. In a small pan, combine the LACTAID® Whole Milk and sweetener. Heat over low heat, stir occasionally until the sweetener has completely dissolved. Don’t let it boil.
  3. Remove the mixture from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Let it cool to room temperature.
  4. Once the mixture has cooled, transfer to the chilled mixing bowl. Begin beating the mixture on low speed, gradually increasing to high speed. Continue beating for about 5-7 minutes, or until the mixture thickens.
  5. Taste the whipped cream and add additional sweetener if desired. Beat for another minute to incorporate the sweetener if needed.
  6. Once the whipped cream has reached the desired consistency, you’re finished!
