Ingredients


5 cups LACTAID® Fat-Free Lactose-Free Milk

1 cup uncooked white jasmine rice

½ cup sugar

½ teaspoon salt


1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

½ cup raisins (optional)

Directions


  1. Combine LACTAID® Fat-Free Lactose-Free Milk, rice, sugar and salt in top of a double boiler.

  2. Cover and cook over simmering water 1-2 hours or until thickened.

  3. Stir in cinnamon and vanilla extract. You can add the optional ½ cup raisins at this point. Can be served warm or cold.
