1 (16 ounce) package pasta (your favorite shape)

,

3 tablespoons olive oil

,

1 cup finely chopped onion

,

1 tablespoon minced garlic

,

4 cups chopped tomatoes

,

½ pound turkey ham

, ,

3 tablespoons finely chopped parsley

,

¼ cup finely chopped basil

,

1 teaspoon crushed oregano

,

Salt and pepper to taste

Directions
 
  1. Cook pasta following package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat oil over medium heat in a large frying pan. Add onion and garlic. Cook over medium heat 2 to 3 minutes. Add tomatoes and ham. Cook 3 to 4 minutes, just until tomatoes are warm. Add LACTAID® Reduced Fat 2% Lactose-Free Milk and pasta.
  3. Simmer over medium heat for 6 to 8 minutes or until the LACTAID® Reduced Fat 2% Lactose-Free Milk has reduced and started to thicken. Add herbs and simmer 3 to 4 minutes for flavors to blend.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
