This smoothie is delicious and easily varied to suit your taste and mood. The following recipe serves as a quick, healthy breakfast, refreshing drink or snack anytime of day. For more of a treat, substitute one cup of peach sorbet instead of peaches.
1/2 cup pineapple juice
1/2 cup 100% whey protein (fat free and lactose free)
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups very ripe pineapple, peeled and roughly chopped
1 tablespoon ginger syrup
2 peaches, peeled, pitted and roughly chopped
1 cup ice
- Combine all of the ingredients in the jar of a blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
