1 cup semisweet chocolate pieces

,

½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

,

2 teaspoons vanilla

,

Frozen whipped nondairy dessert topping, thawed

LACTAID® Lactose-Free Whole Milk

Directions
 
  1. In a large saucepan, combine 1 cup of the LACTAID® Lactose-Free Whole Milk, chocolate pieces, and cinnamon. Cook and whisk over medium-low heat until chocolate is melted.
  2. Gradually stir in remaining LACTAID® Lactose-Free Whole Milk. Cook and whisk until heated through. (Do not boil.)
  3. Stir in vanilla. Beat with a rotary beater or immersion blender until very frothy. Pour hot chocolate into mugs and dollop with whipped topping.
